Our plans for an epic backcountry snow expedition were foiled by a rogue spring storm. Rather than getting buried in snow and beaten by 80mph winds we decided to go to plan B. We had a great time at the Kings Range National Conservation Area. 5 miles of backpacking, 3” of torrential rain, banana slug kissing and a wicked game of assassin were enjoyed by all.
