As the old song goes, “There’s never been a day, like the day that I had, on the day that I went to
Wente”. July 4 – 10, 19 scouts and 3 adult leaders from Troop 200 had a wonderful week at Wente
enjoying: mountain biking, sailing, fishing, rifle, swimming, rock climbing, and much more. Everyone
worked hard and earned a Finney Valley Award, and under Henry Yin’s leadership as SPL, the troop also
earned the Honor Troop award. There was also the Wentathalon where Troop 200’s performance was
spectacular. It was a great week at Wente, and everyone had a great time.
