EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT: SCAM SAFETY

posted in: Volunteering | 0

Scams target millions of people every year, and victims often lose large sums of money or have their identity stolen. For his Eagle Scout project, Kaveer Gera led a group who researched scam warning signs, common scam tactics, and more. They used their research to create a useful reference document available online for anyone to use, as well as to create and deliver live presentations to inform community members how to recognize, avoid, and respond to email, web, and telephone scams. More information and the printable reference document are available on the website: scamsafety.kaveergera.com.
